Pension Splitting

Expectations or promises of a pension on grounds of age or disability established during the marriage will be equalized upon divorce.
This equalization normally takes place when the parties are divorced. In some cases this might not be possible, so that the former spouses will have to clarify the equalization when both parties are already entitled to get a pension.
